To demonstrate a working knowledge of the core skills that require Emergency Response First Aid. To include the latest protocols from the UK Resuscitation Council guidelines pertaining to Adult and Paediatric CPR & basic life support.

Learning Outcomes
Delegates will be able to demonstrate the core skills needed to respond to an emergency situation involving an unconscious casualty who is breathing normally and an unconscious casualty who is not breathing normally. Candidates will also be equipped with the necessary practical knowledge to perform CPR on adults, children and infants, manage a conscious and unconscious choking casualty and have an understanding of how to use AEDs. The candidate will also be equipped with the skills to use oxygen in a medical emergency.
The instructor for this course is a Nuco Qualified First Aid Instructor/Assessor who is also trained to deliver courses in Anaphylaxis and the use of Oxygen in medical emergencies.
Courses are delivered to UK Resuscitation Council guidelines.
All candidates receive a certificate on successfully completing a practical assessment.
