“First Aid for Mental Health”
The First Aider for Mental Health offers initial support to someone, be it a work colleague or someone else, who is experiencing emotional or psychological distress. From this course, you’ll learn how to recognise the signs, respond appropriately by starting a non-judgemental conversation, and confidently signpost someone toward the help they need. You will learn what your roles and responsibilities as the First Aider for Mental Health will be. You could be contributing toward, saving someone's life. (just as a literal first aider might do).
